Kishore Kumar, born Abhas Kumar Ganguly in Khandwa in 1929, worked as a playback singer, actor, composer and film-maker. This archive's film-music collection currently documents one verified Madan Mohan credit for him — "Simti Si Sharmaayi Si" from Parwana (1971), written by Kaifi Azmi.
